Carnival Mardi Gras Images
I have been working on my Mardi Gras review project from January 2019.
Since then I have noticed quite a few discrepancies between the images and other technical documentation published by Carnival Cruise Line.
I have corrected and updated the images where possible, so many of the images included in this site, and especially in the Video Tours, are much closer to reality than the popular pictures found in the net.
Below is one of the corrected images that are so different from what you see everywhere:
Some discrepancies are regular mistakes/misprints that may happen (and often happen with cruise lines) due to the large amount of work.
But some other "mistakes" may reflect the evolution of the ship's design from the earliest time.
For example, the mini-suites (called "Ocean Suites") above deck 9 seem to be regular balcony cabins with extended balconies originally. Then later it was decided to covert them into longer cabins (mini-suites).
However the animation promo videos are based on the old plan and images. So the "newest" animation is actually the most outdated in some important details.
