As we speak of Mardi Gras innovations, we should start from the Roller Coaster.
To be correct, the word "innovation" is often used improperly.
A "novelty" becomes "innovation" when it's adopted and used.
a good example is water slides.
Ones it was a novelty that appeared on a Carnival ship.
Then it became innovation: it was repeated on other Carnival ships, and other cruise lines as well.
So I will be careful with the word "innovation" with relation to the Roller Coaster.
Is it a novelty?
Sure it is!
